3-on-3 basketball for a good cause.
Who We Are
We are a group of students who love sports and everything it stands for. Through sports, we’ve learned respect, acceptance of diversity, and the power of giving back.
This is why we want to give back to our community by sharing the knowledge we’ve gained through our basketball experience and, through this event, help children who have experienced violence and war, leaving their lives behind in search of a better future in our country.
What We Do
Hoops for Hope organizes exciting 3-on-3 basketball tournaments for youth, ages 10-18, with four players per team. Our goal is to bring people together for friendly competition while making a positive impact. We've already held one successful tournament at Moraitis, and two more are coming up at St. Catherine’s and Athens College.
Our Causes
All funds raised go to support meaningful causes. We will be supporting The Home Project, which provides care and shelter for unaccompanied refugee children, as well as IONAS, an athletic association that focuses on the rehabilitation and improvement of individuals with disabilities, as well as their participation in sports events.

Hoops @ St Cats
An incredible tournament that brought together over 140 participants! The addition of the 18+ category was a fantastic highlight, helping us raise more than 7,000 Euros through your generous support. Thank you for making this event a success—we’re excited for what the future holds!
Hoops @ Moraitis
In our first tournament at Moraitis School we had 95 participants and 10 volunteers that contributed to the event happening.
The event participant ages ranged from 10-18 years old and the winners of the age bracket 15-18 received generously donated prizes, including autographed jerseys from their favorite players!

In our first tournament at Moraitis School we had 95 participants and 10 volunteers that contributed to the event happening. We raised about 2000 euros that went towards the NPO, The Home Project. The event participant ages ranged from 10-18 years old and the winners of the age bracket 15-18 received generously donated prizes, including autographed jerseys from their favorite players!
